As promised, here are our photos from our day of snowshoeing. We ended up on the French side of the Jura Mountains, about 30km from where we live. We had a bit of a hard time finding the trails, but once we did we were met by a friendly dog (see below) and were able to traverse about 7km of trails. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. At the end of the day we stopped by a ski shop where we purchased cross country skis (our Christmas presents to each other). Tomorrow we're planning to find some xc trails on the Swiss side of the Juras. Hope everyone at home is having a nice time gearing up for the holidays. We're thinking of you!
